About Me

I am fully qualified psychotherapist and nutritional therapist with specialist training in eating disorders, and over 15 years' experience working as a therapist.

I am also a qualified university lecturer, with over 35 years' experience working in education. I currently manage clinical supervision and teach on the BSc (Hons) nutritional therapy course at University of West London.

My journey into becoming a therapist for eating disorders/disordered eating came about via caring for others with an eating disorder.

My Approach

I believe that you are unique and different people are helped by different forms of support at different times. I draw on my varied qualifications and experience, tailoring therapy to meet your individual needs and aims. I am a solution focussed therapist and my ultimate aim is to help you resolve and manage issues with food, weight and body image so that you can enjoy life and realise your true potential.

Eating disorders therapy is an active process in which we work in collaboration to discover and develop your inner resources to empower you to cope with life's challenges. I endeavour to work at your pace, providing you with a compassionate space for exploration of your feelings.
